Speakers' Profiles
Andrew Hogarth QC Is head of chambers at 12 King's Bench Walk. He has a strong reputation both in the field of personal injury and employment law with a particular interest in industrial disease claims and is the author of Asbestos Disease Litigation (Butterworths, 2004). He is recommended as a leading PI silk in the current edition of Chambers and as a leading Employment Law silk in the current edition of the Legal 500. Since 1997 he has been a part-time Employment Tribunal Chairman. He is also a CEDR-accredited mediator for both areas of his practice. Daniel Tobin Has a well-established Personal Injuries practice, with particular emphasis on defending claims involving highways and Employers Liability issues. He frequently advises and represents a large number of local authorities throughout England and Wales. Daniel’s experience extends to all aspects of personal injuries work, from straightforward RTA claims to high value, multiple and/or serious injury litigation. He also has experience of occupational disease work. He has recently been involved, through BPP, in the continuing professional education of solicitors, lecturing on the handling of MIB Claims. He has also recently presented a seminar on the Freedom of Information Act. |
