Andrew Ritchie QC Andrew Ritchie is a barrister at 9 Gough Square who is recommended in Chambers UK 2009 guide to the legal profession as a "safe pair of hands with all round expertise especially when it comes to MIB matters". He has extensive experience in cases involving brain damage, spinal injuries and Motor Insurers Bureau claims. He is also a leading practitioner in Clinical Negligence (in particular Hypoxia at birth, Urology, Cardiology, neurosurgery). He is the author of the definitive book on this subject entitled MIB Claims (with Tara Vindis of 9 Gough Square, Jordans, 2nd ed 2003), a third edition of which is currently in preparation. He is the General Editor of Kemp & Kemp, Law Practice and Procedure and of Road Traffic Claims: Liability (Jordans, 2009) and a former General Editor of the Journal of Personal Injury Law. Among his numerous other publications he is also the author of Medical Evidence in Whiplash Cases (1998, Sweet & Maxwell) and MIB Claims (Jordans, 3rd ed 2008) and Manual Handling Claims (9 Gough Square, 2008). Shahram Sharghy Shahram Sharghy is a barrister at 9 Gough Square who specialises in personal injury law and contractual disputes. He also undertakes residential landlord and tenant, contractual and general commercial disputes and police related work. He is regularly instructed in all areas of personal Injury law including employers? liability, public liability, road traffic accidents and Fatal Accident Act claims. He has a special interest in accidents at work, highway maintenance cases and low velocity impact claims. He also attends inquest hearings in the Coroner's Court and the High Court to restore companies to the register.
