Paul Epstein QC Paul is a leading employment and discrimination law specialist who has appeared in a wide variety of reported and high profile cases. Chambers UK 2008 say "Paul Epstein QC has a "smooth, relaxed manner before the employment tribunal; he is good on his feet and is a shrewd cross-examiner who explains issues well to clients." He regularly advises on and acts in high value cases for employers and employees in City cases concerning bonus and remuneration negotiations, disputes, whistleblowing, discrimination, dismissal and on restrictive covenants. Andrew Buchan Andrew Buchan has specialised in personal injury since 1984. He has successfully taken to the House of Lords the two leading cases on bullying and stress: Waters v Commissioner of Police for the Metropolis and Barber v Somerset CC. In the employment sphere, Andrew was instructed to intervene on behalf of the NUT (on questions of European law) in the case of Eastwood v Magnox (House of Lords (jurisdiction of the Employment Tribunal to deal with personal injury claims). He took Sheriff v Klyne Tugs (Lowestoft) Ltd to the Court of Appeal in 1999 (jurisdiction of employment tribunal for personal injury cases). Legal 500 2004 described him as "A leading junior in stress claims". He is the co-author of Schedules of Loss: Calculating Damages (Tottel, 2nd edition 2005). |
